Allen County Justice Center Update for September 2025
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 26, 2025) – Video footage of the Allen County Jail posted by Weigand Construction in early September 2025, illustrates that progress continues at the 2911 Meyer Road site. The video shows that roof installation is 70% complete, concrete floors are 50% complete, exterior light pole installation is underway, and the initial layer of paving for the access roads and NE parking lot is complete. The prefabricated jail cells arrived and are being placed within one of the pods. Glimpse inside one of the new cells toward the end of the video to see what they look like.
