On September 13, 2025, at 2149 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 5700 block of Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 2153 hours
Under Control: 2203 hours
The first firefighters on the scene reported moderate smoke coming from the garage. Firefighters aggressively attacked the fire and prevented it from entering the home. Additional arriving fire companies confirmed everyone was out of the home and helped extinguish hot spots. The fire was under control in ten minutes.
All occupants safely self-evacuated.
The fire is still under investigation.
