Indiana State Police Investigating Attempted Suicide at the Allen County Jail
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 3, 2025) – On August 29, 2025 the Indiana State Police was called to investigate an attempted suicide at the Allen County Jail. The initial investigation shows an inmate was found unresponsive in their cell. The Allen County Jail staff immediately provided medical attention until paramedics arrived. The inmate was transported to a local hospital where they remain in critical but stable condition.
