Details/Summary:
On August 23, 2025, Fort Wayne Police Officers responded to a shooting investigation in the 4400 block of Bowser Ave where an adult male victim was suffering from a gunshot wound. The adult male victim was transported to an area trauma center in life-threatening condition. Homicide Detectives arrived and conducted a criminal investigation. The Homicide Unit identified a 14yo male juvenile and 13yo male juvenile as suspects in the shooting. On August 28, 2025, the Homicide Task Force apprehended both the 14yo male juvenile and 13yo male juvenile into custody in the 3700 block of Gaywood Dr. Both male juveniles have been charged with Attempted Murder (Acting in Concert) and Burglary and are currently being held at the Allen County Juvenile Center.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
