Paulding Road closing between Hoagland and Noll on September 2, 2025
Calhoun Street will also be closed at the intersection of Paulding RoadFort Wayne, Indiana (August 28, 2025) – Beginning Tuesday, September 2, the Paulding Road Reconstruction project will require a full closure of Paulding Road between Hoagland Avenue and Noll Avenue. Calhoun Street will also be closed at the intersection of Paulding Road for associated storm sewer improvements. The project reconfigures the travel lanes on Paulding Road which will improve pedestrian connectivity, increase traffic safety and efficiency, calm traffic, and bring enhanced visual appearance to the neighborhood. Paulding Road is expected to reopen by the middle of December.
This important roadway improvement project is part of the City of Fort Wayne’s 2025 neighborhood infrastructure plan that includes $41.4 million in public works upgrades throughout the community.
