
On August 1, 2025, the Fort Wayne Police Department reported two more arrests resulting from this incident has been completed.
On July 29, 2025, at 1400 hours. the Fort Wayne Police Department served three search warrants at different locations that resulted in the arrest of a suspected dog-fighting suspect.

Preliminary Charges:
- Purchase or Possession of an Animal for Fighting, Level 6 Felony
- Purchase or Possession of an Animal for Fighting, Level 6 Felony
Details/Summary:
On this date beginning at approx. 14:00 hrs. the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotics Division, along with the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit and Emergency Service Team, served 3 (three) search warrants at the above-listed locations. This was in relation to a nearly six-month investigation into alleged dog fighting activity. As a result of this investigation 22 dogs were seized, as well as numerous items related to dog fighting/training.

- The Allen County Sherriff’s Dept.
- Fort Wayne Office of the FBI
