East Petit Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Reed and Winter Street through Friday morning as crews restore the concrete roadway damaged by a water main break.

Traffic Alert: Two Day Closure for East Pettit
Road Restoration Needed from Water Main Break

Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 22, 2025) — East Petit Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Reed and Winter Street through Friday morning as crews restore the concrete roadway damaged by a water main break.

The closure will begin at 8:00 AM tomorrow, Wednesday, July 23.

A detour using South Anthony Boulevard, East Paulding Road, and Lafayette Street will be in place through Friday.
