Details/Summary:
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, at approximately 3:03 a.m., officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 1800 River Run Trail, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). The victim, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, is described as a Black male, approximately 15 to 20 years old, 5’11” tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with a chipped front tooth.
The identity of the victim remains unknown at this time. We are asking anyone who may have information related to this incident or the identity of the victim to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Division at (260) 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-STOP (7867), or the P3 app.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
