Details/Summary:
Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives identified Jamarcus Wiliams 39yo as the suspect of the shooting on July 12, 2025, in the 2500 block of Weisser Park Avenue. On July 14, 2025, the Homicide Task Force took Williams into custody without incident in the 400 block of S. Calhoun St. Williams is preliminary charged with Attempted Murder and Aggravated Battery and is currently being held at the Allen ounty Jail. This incident is actively under investigation by the Fort Wayne Homicide Unit, in conjunction with the Allen County Prosecutors Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
