FWCS conference ignites teaching with classroom technology

Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 10, 2025) – Educators, technology leaders and learning innovators will gather for the annual FWCS ignitED classroom technology conference from 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Northrop High School, 7001 Coldwater Road.

The Summer of Learning conference is designed to offer educators the opportunity to connect with innovative, technology-enhanced teaching practices to accelerate learning with a focus on STEM, literacy and digital learning.

ignitED will feature keynote speaker Jere Chang, an Atlanta-area classroom teacher with more than 25 years of experience who has become a viral TikTok sensation with more than 1.9 million followers. Chang’s motivational presentations combine kindness, inspiration and laughter to help audiences feel refreshed, safe, cared for and valued.

Breakout sessions throughout the day will be led by FWCS staff, teachers and vendors. Session topics include PowerSchool, School AI, Nearpod, Canva, Carousel, making the most of eLearning and remote learning days and more. Participants will be able to choose which sessions to attend.
