The Allen County Coroner has identified Anisha Denise Jackson as the 19th Allen County Homicide in 2025.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified and made notification to the next of kin of the deceased individual that was found in the 1000 Block of Hamilton Avenue, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at about 12:08 hours, Thursday, June 26, 2025. She has been positively identified as Anisha Denise Jackson, female, Black, age 39 of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting at a residence and found Anisha Denise Jackson unresponsive. Three Rivers Ambulance Authority pronounced death shortly after arrival on scene.
Anisha Denise Jackson’s Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Anisha Denise Jackson is the 19th Homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2025.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
