Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 24, 2025) – Still dangerously hot out there today with the afternoon heat index exceeding 100 degrees for many. A brief reprieve may come in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Not everyone will see a thunderstorm. The overall severe weather risk is low, but the strongest of storms could produce damaging wind gusts.
