Alive Community Outreach celebrates 2025 Peacemaker Graduation

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 18, 2025) – Alive Community Outreach will celebrate the graduation of 60 students from its 2025 Peacemaker Academy on Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. at Northrop High School. The Peacemaker Academy is a nonviolent leadership development program for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors at North Side, Northrop, Snider, South Side and Wayne high schools.

WHERE: Northrop High School Auditorium, 7001 Coldwater Road

This is the second year that all five FWCS high schools are participating in the Peacemaker Academy. The program began at South Side High School in 2019 with 12 graduates.

“This year’s Peacemaker Graduation is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we invest in young people and equip them to lead with courage, compassion, and nonviolence. Watching students from all five FWCS high schools complete this journey is not just a milestone—it’s a movement. These graduates are proof that peace is not only possible, it’s already growing in our schools and our city.,” said Rev. Angelo Mante, Executive Director of Alive Community Outreach.

Alive Community Outreach, founded in 2019, seeks to cultivate a community of nonviolence through relationships and education.
