Community Harvest’s Juneteenth Community Celebration
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 17, 2025) – Community Harvest Food Bank’s Third Annual Community Celebration for Juneteenth is June 19th, from 11am to 2pm outdoors at Tillman Park’s softball diamonds. The event is free, and offers lunch (while supplies last), live DJ, balloon animals from TAG Art, free haircuts from Tamed J&B, lots of games, dancing, giveaways, and ~20 vendors of area organizations including Science Central, Parkview Health, Little Thinkers, and Humana. We will also have a Corvette Club, firetruck, and more! Last year the attendance was hundreds of people, and we’d love to see everyone out there! This event is fun, family friendly, and a great way to learn about what our community offers while having a great time with the family. A backup date will be announced in case of terrible weather.
You can find our event information on Facebook. Big thank you to F&M Bank, who is sponsoring, tabling, volunteering, and serving Kona Ice (while supplies last).
Event Organizer: Dearllean Walker, of Community Harvest Food Bank
Sponsors: F&M Bank, Humana, United Healthcare.
