INDOT announces an I-469 entrance ramp closure as part of ongoing interstate construction.
News release from the Indiana Department of Transportation:
I-469 on-ramp to close at S.R. 37
Allen County, Indiana (June 13, 2025) – INDOT announces an I-469 entrance ramp closure as part of ongoing interstate construction.
Starting on or after June 21, the on-ramp from State Road 37/Maysville Road to southbound I-469 will close. The closure is expected to last until the end of August. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, drivers needing to access southbound I-469 from S.R. 37/Maysville Road should use the official detour and head north on I-469, use Exit 29 (Maplecrest Road) and re-enter the interstate heading south. A temporary traffic signal is being put into place at the intersection of the northbound I-469 on and off-ramps and Maplecrest Road to help with traffic control. Drivers can also seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
