The Allen County Coroner has identified Laron Duane Rosse as the 15th Allen County Homicide in 2025.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On Friday, May 30th, 2025, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting that occurred in the 2600 block of Wells Street, in Fort Wayne. The victim was transported to a local hospital where death was pronounced. The victim has been identified as Laron Duane Rosse, male, Black, age 59, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Notification has been made to the legal next of kin and an autopsy has been completed. The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Laron Duane Rosse is the 15th homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2025.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
