FWCS commencement ceremonies to honor Class of 2025
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 29, 2025) – Fort Wayne Community Schools will celebrate commencement, Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, for the 1,860 members of the Class of 2025.
As the Class of 2025 leaves their schools, they will embark on many different journeys. Some will continue their studies at universities and colleges including Indiana University, Purdue University, Butler University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Columbia University and the University of East London. Other graduates will join military service or complete technical training for careers in skilled trades like carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, automotive repair, cosmetology and more. These accomplished students will gather one last time at graduation ceremonies to celebrate their achievements before launching into their chosen pathways.
The five FWCS traditional high schools and the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy commencement ceremonies will be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum at the following times:
- North Side – 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 30
- Wayne – 8 p.m., Friday, May 30
- South Side – 10 a.m., Saturday, May 31
- Fort Wayne Virtual Academy – noon, Saturday, May 31, Appleseed Room
- Northrop – 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31
- Snider – 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 31
