Neighborhood Presidents Meeting Set for June 2, 2025
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 27, 2025) – The City of Fort Wayne’s next Neighborhood Presidents meeting is scheduled for June 2, 2025 at 6 p.m., Citizens Square in the City Council Chambers located on the Garden Level. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Fort Wayne Neighborhoods’ Facebook page.
Speakers for the meeting include Chris Blauvelt, director of Neighborhood Code Compliance, and Alec Johnson, Redevelopment director. Blauvelt will update attendees on the Tall Grass/Weed program and answer questions about how Neighborhood Code Compliance works in partnership with neighborhood associations. Johnson will review several current Redevelopment projects, including the Urban Trail, the Treeline District, Oxford Streetscape, North River and more.
In order to be considered active, neighborhood association leaders are encouraged to register with the City. Registered neighborhoods receive updates from various City departments and can apply for grant opportunities.
