Mayor Tucker to join Rolling Thunder, Inc. for Memorial Day ceremony
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 25, 2025) – Mayor Sharon Tucker will be participating in a special ceremony at 1 p.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum, 2122 O’Day Road. The event is open to the public.
Rolling Thunder, Inc. Indiana Chapter 1 will be in Fort Wayne for the third year in a row in recognition of Memorial Day. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. At the Memorial Day event, the Chapter will unveil and dedicate a four-foot black granite POW/MIA bench at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum.
This event coincides with Rolling Thunder’s Ride for Freedom that will depart from Harley Davidson of Fort Wayne, 6315 Illinois Rd. at around noon to go to the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum.
