United Way of Allen County Organizes 34th Annual Day of Caring Event
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 19, 2025) – United Way of Allen County is proud to announce its plans for the 34th Annual Day of Caring Event on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025. This annual event will mobilize thousands of volunteers across Allen County to engage in community service projects, helping local nonprofits, schools, and neighborhood organizations thrive.
Applications are open now through June 20! Here is how to get involved:
- Create a Team: Corporate or organizational groups of three or more can join for a rewarding volunteer experience and make a difference in the community!
- Submit a Project: Nonprofits, schools, parks, and nature preserves in need of extra hands to complete projects can now submit their service opportunities. Let the United Way help you achieve your goals with the support of dedicated volunteers.
- Become a Sponsor: Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations looking to support one of the region’s most impactful days of service. As a sponsor, businesses will:
- Be recognized as a community leader
- Gain visibility across Allen County
- Help drive real change through hands-on service
Sponsorship opportunities are available through July 9, 2025.
