Details/Summary:
On April 25th, 2025 the Fort Wayne Police Department conducted directed patrol in reference to complaints the city has received regarding acts of lewdness in the parks. During the operation, two male subjects were arrested in separate incidents while at Swinney Park; 2100 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The first suspect exposed his genitals to officers while standing in a parking lot and made offers to conduct sexual acts with them. This suspect was arrested and taken to the Allen County Jail for the offense of Public Indecency.
The second suspect exposed his genitals to an officer and began fondling them in front of the officer; he then resisted arrest while uniformed officers attempted to apprehend him. This suspect was arrested and taken to the Allen County Jail for the offenses of Public Indecency and Resisting Law Enforcement – Physical.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
