The League Leadership Academy Members to Surprise Local Nonprofits with $5,000 on Pay It Forward Day
The League will host an event for members of their Inclusion Institute’s Leadership Academy to give back to the community.Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 24, 2025) – In celebration of Pay It Forward Day, self-advocates at The League will present a total of $5,000 in donations, with support from AWS Foundation to local nonprofits that are creating a more inclusive community for people with disabilities.
The Leadership Academy members are individuals with disabilities who use their experiences to promote inclusion, accessibility, and positive change in their communities. Selected nonprofits were nominated by the Leadership Academy members themselves, organizations they volunteer with, receive services from, or who make a positive impact in Northeast Indiana.

WHO: Members from The League’s Leadership Academy, other League staff Representatives from AWS Foundation Leaders from recipient nonprofit organizations
