Pumps in Place if Needed
Residents asked to check Neighborhood Storm Drains

Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 3, 2025) – With more rain in the forecast, City Utilities has placed pumps in key areas to help manage stormwater if needed and reduce flooding risks. These pumps have been set up in advance at:

  • Old Mill & Fairfax
  • Fairmount Place
  • Calhoun & Tillman
  • Fernwood & Dalevue

Crews are actively monitoring conditions, but we also need help from residents to check storm drains near their homes or businesses and remove any leaves, sticks, or debris. Properly disposing of debris helps keep water flowing and reduces the risk of street and home flooding when the rain returns.

Residents experiencing issues should call 311. If calling after regular business hours, follow the prompts to report issues.
