Details/Summary:

On Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) were dispatched to 2500 block of Broadway in response to a disturbance involving an armed individual. Shortly after, dispatch informed officers that a shooting had occurred at the location. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of an altercation. One of the individuals involved, later identified as Rudaeja Moore, sustained a gunshot wound to a lower extremity. She was driven to a local hospital as officers arrived at the dispatched location.

As the investigation progressed, officers interviewed the other party involved, later identified as Andrew Scott-Guyton. Preliminary findings indicate that the altercation escalated, with one individual wielding an axe and the other a handgun. Both Moore and Scott-Guyton were subsequently arrested on the charges listed.
