Allen County Highway Department Responding to Road Conditions
Allen County, Indiana (March 17, 2025) – The Allen County Highway Department (ACHD) is aware of and responding to several road sections throughout the county where road quality has been impacted by sudden and significant deterioration in many areas due to the freeze-thaw cycle.
Temporary repairs are underway for the following roads:
- Irving Rd. < > Bruick Rd. & Milan Ctr. Rd.
- Irving Rd. < > Milan Ctr. Rd. & Thimlar Rd.
- Kinnerk Rd. south of Dunkelberg Rd.
- Zubrick Rd. < > Hamilton Rd. & Yoder Rd.
- Feighner Rd. south of Hamilton Rd.
- Prine Rd. south of Yoder Rd.
- Hamilton Rd. < > SR 1 & Thiele Rd.
- Doyle Rd. < > Moeller Rd. & Paulding Rd.
- Doyle Rd. < > Paulding Rd. & Tillman Rd.
The symbol < > indicates “between.” Use caution in these areas and, as always, slow down and move over for highway maintenance workers and road crews.
If you encounter potholes or other poor road conditions located in unincorporated Allen County, please reach out to the ACHD at highway@co.allen.in.us – make sure to provide an accurate description of the location, referencing cross streets and the compass point for the side of the road if possible.
