The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire in the 200 block of Masterson Avenue on March 5, 2025, at 0304 hours.
A resident of a single family home called 9-1-1 and described seeing smoke inside of their home.

FWFD Engine 11 arrived first at the scene and located fire in the wall of a first floor bathroom that had spread to the second floor. It was confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated, and several fire crews worked to extinguish fire in the walls of the home. No injuries occurred and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
Several agencies assisted the Fort Wayne Fire Department including the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, the City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, NIPSCO, and Indiana Michigan Power.
