Jaskaran Singh has been arrested by the Fort Wayne Police Department for the homicide of Katiza Binti Mohamed-Sayad which occurred in the 3000 block of Drexel Avenue.

Details/Summary:
On February 28, 2025, FWPD Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 3000 block of Drexel Ave in reference to a shooting investigation. FWPD Officers arrived and located an adult female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The female victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by Medics. FWPD Homicide Detectives arrived on-scene and conducted a criminal investigation. Jaskaran Singh 22yo was arrested for the shooting and is preliminary charged with Murder. Singh is currently confined at the Allen County Jail.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
