Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 17, 2025) – We’d like to introduce you to Big Fort Fest! A brand new festival celebrating all things Fort Wayne. This new festival will be a modern take on a beloved event and time of year in the Summit City. We can’t wait to share this festival with you and see what it can grow into over the coming years.
Although we’re working on a tight timeline, our goal is to deliver an unforgettable experience in 2025 that the community will embrace and help make even bigger in 2026 and beyond. This year, the festival will feature three nights of live music from national touring acts, alongside classic festival food with food trucks and vendors offering your Fort Wayne favorites. Each day will offer fun for the whole family, with kids’ performances, a petting zoo, and plenty of free games and activities. There will also be a host of other affiliated events from past years that you’ve come to love and support in the downtown festival area. And don’t miss the new market on the west side of Headwaters Park, featuring art, vintage finds, and local makers every day.

The event organizers are brothers, Jake & Jes Farris. The Farris brothers plan and organize Tattoo Fest across the US in 22 cities including Fort Wayne. They are joined by Jake Slater, head of Electric Promotions. Jake Slater is no stranger to Headwaters Park, bringing some of the largest drawing events and concerts to the venue. This event marks a new direction for Fort Wayne’s Downtown summer festival with an extreme focus on being community driven & showcasing the amazing businesses, art, and makers in Fort Wayne.
