After a Child Sexual Abuse investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Brayden Keener on February 12, 2025, for the charges listed above who was taken into custody that afternoon by Officers from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department-Warrants Division.

Details/Summary:

On December 29, 2024, a mother called the Fort Wayne Police Department after discovering evidence of her twelve (12) year old daughter having a sexual relationship with a twenty (20) year old male. Detective Scott Wilson, an investigator with the Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), was assigned to the case as Lead Detective. The minor child participated in a Forensic Interview at the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children where she disclosed Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) by Brayden Keener. Mr. Keener was already under investigation for soliciting a different minor which ultimately led to his arrest on January 17, 2025. Detective Wilson submitted his case to the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possible charges. An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Keener on February 12, 2025 for the charges listed and was taken into custody that afternoon by Officers from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department – Warrants Division. Detective Wilson was also assisted by the Indiana Department of Child Services–Allen County.
