The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified and made notification to the next of kin of the deceased individual that was found on the playground in the 1100 block of Fayette Drive on February 10, 2025.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified and made notification to the next of kin of the deceased individual that was found on the playground at the 1100 block of Fayette Drive, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at about 19:55 hours, Monday, February 10, 2025. She has been positively identified as Sincere Sole Thomas, female, Black, age 17, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting at the playground and found Sincere Sole Thomas unresponsive. Three Rivers Ambulance Authority transported the decedent to a local hospital where death was pronounced shortly after arrival.
Sincere Sole Thomas’ Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound of Torso, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Sincere Sole Thomas is the 6th Homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2025.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
