On February 12, 2025, at 0135 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Eden Street.

Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at 2100 Eden St. today at roughly 1:35 am. Preliminary investigation indicates that an altercation took place in the hallway of an apartment building between some adult males. During the altercation shots were fired. One adult male was located at the scene suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was rendered aid at the scene, then transported by TRAA to a local hospital in non-life threatening condition.
A short time later, another adult male walked into a local hospital suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was also in non-life threatening condition. It is believed that the walk-in is related to the shooting at 2100 Eden St.
This incident remains under investigation by the FWPD and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
