Fort Wayne City Council statement regarding the Fort Wayne Community Legacy Fund.

Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 5, 2025) – In consultation and conjunction with members of Mayor Tucker’s Administration, the Legacy Fund Investment Committee, and the Legacy Joint Funding Committee, members of City Council are requesting that the Legacy Fund Administrator pause accepting new applications for funding out of the Legacy Fund for the next six months. As part of an administrative procedure review, it has been determined that, with the ending of payments into the fund in 2025, an assessment of policies and procedures is due. Members of City Council wish to review no new requests before August 2025 or at the conclusion of the evaluation.
