On January 12, 2024, at about 02:00 hours the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a fatal shooting in the 10600 block of Seiler Road, in New Haven, Indiana. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin of Tra’Quon Dashon Hurmon, male, Black, 14 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound of the Head, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Tra’Quon Dashon Hurmon is the 1st Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the New Haven Police Department, the Indiana State Police, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
