On December 3, 2024, at 0500 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1500 block of Franklin Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0500 hours
On Scene: 0504 hours
Under Control: 0515 hours
On arrival, the first firefighters observed moderate smoke issuing from the home. A fire was located in the rear of the home, in kitchen area. It was extinguished and under control in 11 minutes.
No one was at home at the time of the fire.
The home had moderate fire, smoke and water damage.
The fire remains under investigation.
