
On December 1, 2024, at 2217 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire near the Concordia Lutheran High School Baseball Field at 3620 North Anthony Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a significant amount of smoke and fire coming from one of the bathrooms attached to a maintenance garage near the baseball field. Firefighters were able to keep the fire contained to the bathrooms and prevented it from extending into the larger maintenance building. The cold weather and ice formation on the parking lot did not hamper the suppression efforts. The fire caused extensive damage to the restrooms and only minor damage to the maintenance building. Smoke damage was heavy throughout the entire structure.
No injuries were reported at the time of this report.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
