On November 25, 2024, at 2115 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to ta reported structure fire at the Baker Street Steakhouse at 4820 North Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 2115 hours
On Scene: 2119 hours
Under Control: 2132 hours
The single-story restaurant was closing for the day when a fire started in the kitchen ventilation system. No customers were in the building and all employees evacuated safely. Firefighters extinguished a fire in the ventilation duct and motor on the roof of the building.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code and Allen County Board of Health also were called to the scene.
