The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division will host their next Neighborhood Presidents Meeting December 2, 2024, at Citizens Square.

Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 25, 2024) – The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division will host their next Neighborhood Presidents Meeting at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 2 at Citizens Square in the City Council Chambers located on the Garden Level. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Fort Wayne Neighborhoods’ Facebook page.
Mayor Sharon Tucker will be the featured speaker at the Presidents Meeting, sharing her vision and goals for the next year with the community leaders. After the Mayor’s presentation, FORT-ify Neighborhood Accelerator alums from Fairfield-Terrace-Belmont and Mount Vernon Park neighborhoods will share a review of their experience in the program.
Additionally, a brief presentation by Christopher Blauvelt, Deputy Director of Neighborhood Code Compliance, will also provide information about the role and responsibilities of Neighborhood Code and what it means for associations. Following the meeting, neighborhood leaders are invited to stay for light refreshments.
Neighborhood association leaders are encouraged to register their association with the City to be considered active at www.fortwayneneighborhoods.org. Registered neighborhoods receive updates from various City departments and are eligible for grant opportunities by completing the short registration.
