The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a possible shooting victim in the area of 1000 block of Huestis Avenue, at approximately 12:07am. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot(s) wound(s) inside a residence. Medics arrived a short time after and the male victim was found to be deceased on scene.
There is limited information at this time. Witnesses are giving their accounts of the incident, and those accounts are being pieced together. Homicide Detectives are working diligently to collect all available information regarding this shooting.
