On October 24, 2024, at 1750 hours, a resident contacted 9-1-1 to report smoke in their home located in the 700 block of Rudisill Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1750 hours
On Scene: 1751 hours
Under Control: 1809 hours
FWFD Engine 11 arrived first and extinguished a fire in the basement of the two-story house. The occupant self-evacuated safely and no one else was found inside after a search by fire crews.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
