FWFD: House Fire, 5600 block Graber Drive

On October 18, 2024, at 1531 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire called in to 9-1-1 by multiple persons in the 5600 block of Graber Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1531 hours
On Scene: 1532 hours
Under Control: 1556 hours

Fire Engine 8 arrived to find a two-story house with the attached garage fully involved in fire. Firefighters immediately searched the home and began to directly suppress the fire. One resident was home at the time and had self-evacuated without injury. Several fire crews with multiple hose lines were required to extinguish the fire which caused significant damage to the house. There were 4 pets in the home, 2 were found safe outside.

The fire is currently under investigation.
