On October 4, 2024, at 17:50 hours,, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department, after a report of a shooting in the area, located a male with what appeared to be gunshot wounds in the 400 block of Dalman Avenue.

Details/Summary:
On Friday, October 4th, 2024, around 5:50 p.m., officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Warsaw Street reference a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found a male outside with what appeared to be gunshot wounds on the 400 block of Dalman Ave. Officers provided first aid to the male until medics arrived. Medics assessed the male’s condition as life-threatening and promptly transported him to a local hospital.
Currently, there are no suspects and there is no threat to the community. There is limited information at this time. Detectives are working diligently to collect all available information regarding this shooting.
