The Allen County Coroner has identified Tyler Joe Shake as the 20th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On June 29th, 2024, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 100 block of Chrisren Cove, in Yoder, Indiana. The victim was pronounced deceased by first responders at the scene.
The victim was identified as Tyler Joe Shake, 40, male, White of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the legal next of kin. The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Tyler Joe Shake is the 20th homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
