Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 1, 2024) – TinCaps first baseman Griffin Doersching went deep, but the solo homer was Fort Wayne’s only run in a 7-1 loss to the Lansing Lugnuts (Oakland A’s affiliate) at Jackson Field on Monday night.

Lansing (3-7, 35-40) got on the board first in the third inning with unearned run driven in by former TinCaps shortstop Euribiel Ángeles. The Lugnuts tacked on two more in the fourth to go ahead 3-0.
