On July 1, 2024, at 1427 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a fire at the Comfort Inn and Suites at 5775 Coventry Lane.
Time of Alarm: 1427 hours
On Scene: 1433 hours
Under Control: 1451 hours
The first unit on the scene entered the structure and found a fire in a first-floor room. The crew pulled a hand line to extinguish the fire. Other crews arrived and assisted in evacuating the building and helping to control the fire. There was smoke on all three floors of the building that had to be cleared.
The fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.

Water Damage: Minor
Smoke Damage: Moderate
