The Allen County Coroner has identified Ryan Patrick Harding as the 18th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On June 16th, 2024, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 6000 block of Melan Cove, in Fort Wayne. The victim was transported to a local hospital and later was pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified as Ryan Patrick Harding, 32, male, White of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the legal next of kin. The Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound of Torso and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Ryan Patrick Harding is the 18th Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s office.
