Details/Summary:
On Tuesday June 11th 2024 at approximately 11:16 PM officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to N Coliseum & Lake Ave regarding a vehicle crash involving a moped. A truck traveling south bound rear-ended a moped.
Medics transported the male moped rider to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The occupants of the pickup truck were uninjured. Speed and Alcohol are believed to be a factor.
This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department Fatal Crash Team, and Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
