The Allen County Coroner has identified Troy Jay Madison as the 17th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On June 10, 2024, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a stabbing in the 1400 Block of Fletcher Avenue, in Fort Wayne. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim was identified as Troy Jay Madison, 62, male, Black of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the legal next of kin. The Cause of Death is Stab Wound of Head/Neck and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Troy Jay Madison is the 17th Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s office.
