The Allen County Coroner has identified Kirk Thomas Willinger as the 16th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On June 3, 2024, at about 19:25 hours the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting investigation in the 900 block of Canal Place Circle, in New Haven, Indiana. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin of Kirk Thomas Willinger, male, White, 61 years of age, from New Haven, Indiana.
The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Kirk Thomas Willinger is the 16th Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the New Haven Police Department, the Indiana State Police, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s office.
