Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to shots fired heard in the area of 900 Colerick St. Two vehicle were seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Multiple vehicle descriptions were given, but were inconsistent. While officers were responding to the area a caller called into Dispatch and advised that a male was shot in the rear of a residence in the 700 block of Drexel. The adult male was rendered aid and transported to a local hospital in critical condition; while at the hospital the victim was downgraded to life-threatening condition. Weisser park school was placed on lockdown until the scene was safe as a precaution.
