Details/Summary:

On February 14, 2024, the FWPD became aware of allegations involving minor children that were being sexually abused. They named Cody Jenkins as the alleged defendant. Detective Eric Krull was assigned as the Preliminary Detective. The next day, Detective Michelle Brown, a member of the Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), was assigned as the Lead Detective. Detective Brown submitted her completed case to the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. Subsequently, a warrant was issued for the defendant’s arrest on April 23, 2024. Mr. Jenkins was taken into custody this morning in Lima, Ohio for the listed charges.

Detectives Brown and Krull were assisted by the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children, the Indiana Department of Child Services, the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center, FWPD Victims Assistance, the U.S. Marshals Service and law enforcement from Lima, Ohio.
